Shared cores are what keep the price sensible, and for the great majority of workloads they are entirely sufficient. If you need the performance never to vary with what other customers are doing, our Optimized Cloud range has dedicated vCPU instead.
Servers are built automatically and reachable within minutes of checkout, and moving up a plan later adds CPU, memory or disk to the machine you already have rather than starting a new one. Billing is monthly at the price shown.
