Video Production

At Global Web Concepts, we believe that any job worth doing is worth do it well. We work strictly with professional hd equipment, the kind that is routinely used for broadcast applications. The people on our crew are seasoned pro's with years of experience in the field.

Our rates are reasonable, and competitive within our field. Our mission is to produce a program for you that you can be proud of.

Since video production is completely tailored to your needs, it is almost impossible to give blanket answers to questions like, "How much does a 5 minute video cost?"

An industry rule of thumb estimates around $2,500 to $3,500 per finished minute of video for a quality presentation. The cost also is wildly dependent on what exactly you want to see on the screen during those minutes. A helicopter fly-over of your facility is very impressive, but obviously more budget-intensive than a camera person standing in the lawn across the street taking the shot. You get the idea.

The best way to answer this question is to contact us to discuss your objectives. Consultations are free, and we are happy to show you samples of similar productions, so you'll know exactly what sort of look a certains budget buys.

We offer a full green screen stage (perfect for on camera interviews, standups & motion effects). Our in house Digital Effects artists create photorealistic & fantasy 3D virtual sets and then use “camera tracking” to seamlessly integrate moving camera shots of actors from our green stages. We are experts in 3D shooting, post workflow, web media & streaming.

In order to work up a production budget, we need to know more information on your particular project. What is the purpose of the video? Will you need our green screen production studio? Who is the target audience? How do you plan to distribute the video-on DVD, web, or via broadcast? Are we providing all or just some of the production services?

Video production has four distinct phases. Variables in any of these determine the final cost of an individual production.

Pre-Production:
• Creative concept
• Script writing
• Research and meetings
• Location scouting and permits

Production:
• Video equipment
• Professional crew
• Studio rental, set design, props
• Actors, voice-over + on-camera talent
• Specialty items, animals, etc.
Post-Production:
• Logging of footage, transcription of interviews
• Off-line edit or edit decision list
• Production music and stock footage
• Graphics and animations
• Final on-line editing

Distribution:
• Duplication (straight-play DVD compression)
• Creation of interactive media (DVD authoring)
• Compression for Internet use
